The first Fenty perfume is coming! Starting Tuesday Aug 10, you can smell as heavenly as Rihanna (according to many sources). The newly titled billionaire continues to make the Fenty name more valuable, with this perfume essentially being Rihanna in a bottle. Fenty Eau de Parfum will be exclusively available on Fenty.com and is priced at $120 a bottle.
In a recent press release, Rihanna said that the color was chosen to embody her and represent “all genders from across all walks of life.” She also stated that “Brown is my favorite color. Brown is who I am. Brown is what I come from. If I’m going to make a fragrance that represents me, even the body language of the bottle needs to marry that. So, I wanted something brown, but also transparent so you could see the liquid and the fragrance you’re about to experience.”
Even though this is Rihanna’s first perfume under the Fenty umbrella, this avenue isn’t exactly new for her. The singer has released several popular perfumes, but she describes this one as more floral, woodsy, slightly juicy, and different than her previous scents.
The fragrance has notes of magnolia, musk, tangerine, and blueberry with hints of Bulgarian Rose Absolute, geranium, and patchouli all wrapped up in an amber-hued bottle. Also, just like everything else in her cosmetics empire, Fenty perfume is cruelty-free.
Fenty perfume is sure to be everyone’s favorite scent when it drops.
