Designer Riccardo Tisci Leaves Givenchy After 12 Years

Designer Riccardo Tisci, has confirmed this afternoon that he is to leave Givenchy, after 12 years as Creative Director.

Tisci has reinvented and modernized the Parisian fashion house founded by Hubert de Givenchy in 1952, bringing rock and roll edge and sex appeal with his collections.

His final collection was the autumn 2017 couture presentation, shown during Paris couture week  on 20th January and WWD confirms that Tisci amicably terminated his employment with Givenchy effective January 31st.

Riccardo has been responsible for some of the most ICONIC Hollywood looks of the last 12 years. You might remember Beyonce slaying her Givenchy gown at the MET gala in 2015:
