With a YouTube Channel that has amassed over 3.5 million supporters and a resume that flaunts a bevy of brand collaborations, Jackie Aina is a household name whose “Jackie, Jackie, Jackie, Jackie” earworm intro keeps the pulse of the beauty industry thriving. Most recently, the makeup megastar has teased the release of her new brand Forvr Mood.

Earlier this week, Aina posted a photo of her with a broad smile, in the midst of her setting powder routine and holding a lighter along with the caption, “Guys, something is coming.”

Jackie Aina’s formidable presence in the makeup industry has poised her to amplify the conversation of the exclusion of minority representation. Akin to the Pull Up For Change campaign coordinated by Uoma Beauty’s founder Sharon Chuter, Aina is known for remaining vocal in holding brands accountable in regards to diversity and inclusion.

In her latest spate of activism, the former Morphe affiliate announced on July 2 that she would be severing her contractual collaboration with the brand that “continues to retail antiblack racist beauty brands.”

With this commitment to never compromising her culture for collaborations, many supporters were suspecting that her recent endeavor would be a Black-owned beauty brand. However, in her announcement of the Forvr Mood via her personal Instagram account, Aina casually placed an all-caps “IT’S NOT MAKEUP” disclaimer in the caption.

Nonetheless, nearly 69,000 supporters have flocked to the brand’s Instagram page in support and resident Twitter sleuths have still been trying to uncover the ins and outs of the mystery brand. But, whether it is loungewear or candles, Jackie Aina has a die-hard standom ready to unleash their full-fledged support at any minute.
