HBO has finally decided to give us the diverse cast that we’ve been asking for!
The new adaptation of author Ray Bradbury’s 1951 dystopian novel, Fahrenheit 451, will depict “a future where media is an opiate, history is outlawed, and ‘firemen’ burn books.” According to a previous release, Jordan plays Montag, a young fireman, who “forsakes his world” and “battles his mentor,” played by Michael Shannon, all while struggling to regain some sense of humanity.
The film is already gaining lots of attention for its cast. Michael B. Jordan and Laura Harrier (Spiderman Homecoming), are the film’s leading cast members. Laura will play Jordan’s wife, Millie.
Other notable cast members are Indo-Candaidan internet personality, Lilly Singh and Algerian actress, Sofia Boutella (Mummy).
