View Gucci’s Stunning Diverse SS18 Campaign; “Utopian Fantasy”

Gucci Campaign

Gucci’s SS18 campaign proves once again the incredible transformation of the brand by Alessandro Michele. See the shots below.

We can always expect exciting Spring/Summer edits but Gucci continues to blow it out of the water with their SS18 campaign.

Mr. Michele narrowly missed out on Designer of the Year 2017 (won last year) but no doubt, he was more than worthy of the nomination. Raf Simons of Calvin Klein scooped the award this year.

Dubbed “Utopian Fantasy,” the imagery from Gucci’s latest campaign merges the futuristic vision of Alessandro with the pictures’ historical meaning. The three elements found within each image are earth, sea, and sky; mainly the work of the fiercely talented artist, Ignasi Monreal. More of the Spanish illustrator’s art can be found here along with his past work for the designer brand. Ignasi also works within the music field. The Gucci SS18 campaign will be officially on release early in 2018.
