Bonang Matheba, or “Queen B” as she’s known by her fans, was born in Mahikeng, South Africa. She made her t.v debut on a local music show – LIVE in 2007. Miss Matheba was the first South African celebrity to launch an online reality show in 2011 with her B Dazzled. The star later re-launched the show as Being Bonang in 2017. The series portrays her luxurious life, which is filled with “lots and lots of champagne darling”, jet setting, and building brand Bonang.

International Endorsements 🌍

In 2013 Miss Matheba became the first international ambassador for the cosmetic brand Revlon outside the US. Queen B also became the first South African to host the pre-show of the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2014. Her international accolades include awards from – E! Entertainment People’s Choice Awards: African Influencer of the Year 2019. GQ Woman of the year 2020, and Global Social Awards 2019.

Miss Matheba has worked herself up, from queuing for auditions to now owning one of the biggest MCC wines in South Africa – House Of BNG. She is the first black woman to become a member of the Cap Classique Producers Association. The brand celebrated its 2nd anniversary in business on March 18th, 2021 and the star couldn’t be more proud.

This sophisticated MCC includes the Prestige Reserve, which captures excellence, global luxury, and elegance. Brut Rose’ which was the first one she launched. There’s also the cute pack of 4 cans – Nectar Blanc and Nectar Rose’ which launched on October 21st, 2020. Becoming one of the first brands to have a sparkling wine in a can.
