Tamia Will Be In South Africa For A Three-City Tour In July

Grammy-nominated international artist Tamia will be touring the country with a three-city tour later this year. No stranger to South Africa, the much-adored super-talented live performer will return to the country for the fourth time over the past decade.

The Canadian-born R&B singer/songwriter has released multiple albums. She’s now well known for her philanthropic work within the music industry. Before that, she collaborated with several prominent international musical icons and created classics. She’ll kick off her SA tour on Tuesday, July 4, at the Grand Arena, GrandWest, in the Mother City, Cape Town. On Saturday, July 7, she’ll move to KZN to perform at the Durban ICC. She will then conclude the tour on Saturday, July 8, at the Sunbet Arena in Time Square in Pretoria.

Local promoters G21 Live and Vertex Events confirmed an additional show for July 9 at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria. This follows the Pretoria leg at the SunBet Arena, which sold out earlier this week.

‘Due to a huge public outcry following our sold-out announcement on social media yesterday, we decided, if possible, to extend the tour in Gauteng. The venue was available, and post discussions with Tamia and her management team late last night, her availability for an extra show was confirmed. She also expressed much excitement and delight in staying slightly longer in South Africa. It’s official; the extra show is confirmed,
