It is easy to tell that Mother Hip Hop makes an impact on every soul, body, and mind she touches. So much so that, fashion big names like Balenciaga and Gucci swiped designs from the iconic rap label Ruff Ryders and famous Harlem Tailor Dapper Dan.
In it’s Spring 2018 fashion show, Balenciaga showcased a shirt that featured an eerily familiar design. The shirt featured a modified version of the Ruff Ryders signature metallic looking “R”.
Swizz Beatz, who’s aunt and uncle started the label took to instagram to voice his displeasure with the brand.
He also went on to post a picture of a 2000 Ruff Ryders shirt that is nearly identical to the shirt featured in the show.
