Sunday, September 4th was a gorgeous day at the Inanda Polo Club in Sandton, Johannesburg South Africa. Polo season has been in full swing all 2022 and the Aon Inanda International Polo in association with Heineken hosted the industry’s finest guests to the final installment of 2022 Polo action at the Inanda Sandton grounds and MEFeater was in attendance. Esteemed guests such as visitors from the UK, media companies, celebrities, influencers, and consumers of the Heineken brand all gathered and enjoyed the world-class level match between the United Kingdom and South African ladies which ended with a win for the UK.
STYLE COUNCIL
The event had a Style Council which consisted of the fashion industry’s best creators and most stylish ladies, including fashionista Zoe Msutwana, Inanda Polo previous “Best Dressed” winner and actress Tshiamo, stylist and creative consultant Cherné, and digital creator and influencer Lerato Kgamanyane. They had the tough decision to crown the best-dressed female, best-dressed male and best-dressed couple, which obviously couldn’t have been easy as all the ladies and gents really went all-out and dressed to the tee following the “Spring Polo Chic” theme.

BEST DRESSED FEMALE: KHANYA MKANGISA
Khanya Mkangisa is a South African socialite. She wears a short mustard off the shoulder bodycon dress with feathers, paired with nude Christiaan Louboutin heels. For accessories, she wore gold Louise hoop GM earrings and a black Louise Vuitton bag. Speaking to MEFeater after being announced as the winner, Khanya said she was not expecting the win, but was ecstatic about it.
BEST DRESSED MALE: MZUKISI MBANE (IMPRINT)
Mzukisi Mbane is a Fashion Designer for South African afro futuristic brand, Imprint. He wears a custom Imprint set made up of pants, a blazer and kimono with bright abstract prints. Mzukisi Mbane paired the look with an oversized hat of the same prints, futuristic green and black shades, and shoes that match the shades. Mzukisi always shows up when it comes to themed events and his designs are absolutely eye-catching and beautiful. He also dressed the winning Best Dressed Couple at the Polo Invitational – Annie and 2Baba.
BEST DRESSED COUPLE: ANNIE IDIBIA & 2BABA
The Young Famous & African duo and couple need no introduction. Now cemented as Africa’s best controversial and popular couple through their series, YFA, the two represented themselves well at the Polo. Annie wore a custom white dress with feathers, paired with an oversized white felted hat and shades. 2Baba wore a beautiful black and white set with indigenous prints by Imprint. He paired it with black and white sneakers, a black kufi hat and black shades. They were shooting on the day of the Polo and need we say, a well deserved “Best Dressed” accolade.
