We’ve Been Waiting….
Solange Knowles recently announced her follow-up album to 2016’s, A Seat At The Table, is expected to be released soon.
We absolutely cannot wait for SoSo’s new album, masterpiece. Intimacy, rawness, activism, and black girl magic will radiate our speakers very soon. Solange never fails to amaze with her organic music and artistic transparency.
When talking to New York Times T Magazine, Solange explained the inner workings of her album. “There is a lot of jazz at the core. But with electronic and hip-hop drum and bass because I want it to bang and make your trunk rattle.”
As for the official release date, Knowles stated that there isn’t one. In true Knowles fashion, the soulful singer said the album will “likely arrive into the world fully formed at some mysterious and unexpected moment.”
Pull your chairs back up to the table guys… this might be a long wait. However, one that is worth the wait.
“I have this fear living in my body about releasing work,” said Solange. “I don’t know any artist that doesn’t feel that before they hit the send button.”
