Everyone’s favorite anthem, “The Weekend” will be graced with beautiful visuals from Solange.
SZA, the “Love Galore” singer, enlisted the help of Solange to direct the music video to her hit song, “The Weekend”. While little information has been disclosed, SZA did reveal that the music video will be shot in 10 different locations.
SZA commented on Solange stating, “I love her. I think the universe is just bringing us closer to each other. That’s my home girl”. After the two expressed their love and admiration for each other, we knew it will only be a matter of time before the two creatives collaborated.
The aesthetic queen, Solo and SZA will no doubt make a mind-blowing video that we will be watching for years to come. I’m not sure what musical God we need to get on our knees and thank for this beautiful collaboration but, um thank you! ??
If you keep up with anything music related than you know that Solo kills it with the super creative, very colorful, and intriguing visuals. Well in all honesty, she kills everything. Let’s not forget her album, ‘A Seat at the Table’, is an anthem for black women empowerment.
