Remixing Your Valentine’s Day Plans

V-day options might be limited this year, but don’t let that rain on your parade. Here are some fun and safe Valentine’s Day plans along with a few outfit suggestions along the way!

1.Wine Tasting and Dinner at Home

Even though we are home, there are still ways to make it feel like we are out and about. Instead of making a meal at home, order some food that you’ve never tried before. If you don’t feel like ordering out, try a new recipe you found on the internet! For your wine tasting, head to the nearest liquor store and grab a bottle of wine that you haven’t tried. From there, set up the house as if it was a restaurant and dress up. If you don’t have any ideas in mind of what to wear or how to set up, we’ve got you covered.

2. Movie Night with the Girls!

Valentines isn’t just for couples but for you and your friends as well! Instead of a night at the club, go for a pajama movie night! If you don’t want to sit around the TV, you can purchase projectors at decent prices. If you’re feeling a bit extra, PrettyLittleThing has an at-home movie theatre kit to make the experience a bit more fun!

3. Girls Brunch

Brunch is more than an outing, it’s a lifestyle. If you and your friends are about that brunch life, put your money together and hire someone who does tablescapes and intimate events. If you are in the NYC area, Tania, the founder of One Table by Tania, creates perfect tabled events. With the beautiful scenery, fun music, and good food, it’ll feel as good as when you’re brunching outside.

4. Museum Date

Another way to spend Galentine’s Day is to visit a local art gallery with a lovely cafe. This may be an occasion to get cute, bring a camera, and hang out with your friends while surrounded by art. After viewing the various exhibits, visit the cafe and sample something new while sipping a glass of wine or cocktail of your choice. This is not just a creative idea, but the pictures you capture will build memories and possibly a tradition for the following Galentine’s Day.

5. Valentine’s Game Night

If movies and brunch aren’t really your cup of tea, there are other ways to keep your time at home exciting. Try opting for a game night. It could be a couples game night or one simply for just the girls. Everyone can bring their own snacks and games to come together and have lots of fun. Some game suggestions that we gathered up for you are Why Don’t We, Madlibs After Dark, Red Flags: The Game of Terrible Dates, and Twerk Pong (it is just as fun as it sounds). If you want to try more personal games to just learn about one another, you could play Scattergories Valentines Day Games or put together a v-day trivia game based around you and everyone else. Of course, you can always pull out the traditional games too like Uno and Monopoly but it’s probably best to keep this v-day gathering peaceful.

6. Sip & DIY

Instead of a regular sip and paint, maybe paint, make candles, or create resin molds. For the candles, there are tons of fun and unique kits online to help you create your own personalized candles. With the resin molds, you are given bottles where you can personalize your bottle to have flowers, lights, glitter, and more. If you don’t want to make the bottle you can also try to make coasters as well.

7. Have a Photoshoot

If you wanna do something a little extra, get together with your girls or partner to create your own photoshoot! Not only is it a great way to have fun but it’s also a good way to spruce up your IG profile too! Want to take it a step further? You can purchase photoshoot sets and props to make the experience feel even more real!

Hopefully, we were able to provide you with enough plans to have a safe and fun Valentine’s Day. What are your Valentine’s Day plans?
