Shortly after the world saw her collect a disrespectful nobody on Love and Hip Hop: Miami, news broke out that Dominican singer, Amara La Negra, signed a hefty deal with Fast Life Entertainment Worldwide and BMG. The rise of Negra has been a long time coming since she started officially making music since the early 2010s.
Little is known about the beautiful songstress, but she mostly sings in Spanish. It may not matter or be necessary, but she may proceed to sing more in English since her notoriety in North America will rise in the coming years. Hopefully, she will have similar or more success that fellow Afro-Latina, Cardi B as far as representation is concerned.
