Owner of The Honey Pot Says Company Has Not Been Sold Despite Rumors on Social Media

The internet was in an uproar over the weekend when a rumor spread that Black owned feminine care company, The Honey Pot, had been sold after people noticed new ingredients added to the products. The Owner and CEO of the company, Beatrice Dixon, posted a video to Instagram to set the record straight.

In the nearly 15 minute video, Dixon was abundantly clear that she still owns the company. She also stated that although the formula to the popular washes did change, the newer ingredients are “more effective” and still “plant-derived.”

“The Honey Pot has not been sold. I wanna say it one more time: The Honey Pot has not been sold; It’s all a lie and rumor. I remain the Owner, CEO, and Chief Innovation Officer, period. Any other discussion is simply not true. “

Dixon stressed that company has always prided themselves on “transparency” and “communication.”

In light of a global change shortage, the launched of the new wash was released sooner than expected and Honey Pot did not do enough to communicate, Dixon explained. She was adamant that the new formula is “safe, beautiful, and even more effective.”
