Our Good sis, Normani just dropped two new songs with Calvin Harris and we are here for it!
This has been a busy year for Normani since her exit from Fifth Harmony. Her collaboration with Khalid for “Love Lies” has been on the Hot 100 for 34 weeks, reaching No. 9. Normani has appeared on the track “Swing” teaming up with Davido for Quavo’s debut solo album Quavo Huncho.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone Normani expressed “There are so many people excited for me, which I love, but that comes with the pressure.” speaking on her solo career.
“I look at my core fans and see how loyal, dedicated and committed they’ve been. How they’ve rocked with me from the beginning. I just want to live up to those expectations.”
Normani and Calvin Harris “Checklist” featuring Wiz Kid will give you a smooth vibe with it’s reggae tone. The bop is reflection from Harris “Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1”. However, “Slow Down” is MEFeater’s personal favorite. It’s more rhythmic and has a great traditional house vibe. Overall, both songs are strong and the former Fifth Harmonizer should be proud!
