Nail mavens, get ready to channel your inner barb with Nicki Minaj’s upcoming press-on nail line. The mogul announced the press-on nail line via social media over the weekend of Nov. 24, 2023, with a January 2024 release, which has been postponed.

This announcement was part of her rollout for her fifth studio album, “Pink Friday 2,” which continues to break records. Here’s the scoop on how to score Nicki Minaj’s press-on nails.

Here’s the 4-1-1 on how to purchase Pink Friday Nails.

In addition to the announcement, Minaj shared a link to the Pink Friday Nails website to give fans more insight into the launch. Although the press-on nails have yet to launch, the femcee allowed fans to secure their spot to purchase her new creation via tier passes — ranging from $30 to $120.

Per the website, pass holders will “receive an email 24 hours before the brand launches.” From there, pass holders can “enter a unique code at checkout to apply launch pass credit to your order.” Not only will pass holders get first dibs on the press-on nails, but fans will also gain access to the products for 72 hours.

“While we promise guaranteed access for the first 72 hours, keep in mind, we’re crafting sets in small batches, so specific designs, shapes, or lengths aren’t guaranteed,” the website states. “If you don’t use your credit in the first 72 hours, we can’t guarantee you access to launch product, but unused credits rollover into store credit for future purchases.”

Minaj shared her excitement on Twitter with fans.

On Jan. 25, 2024, the “FTCU” femcee took to Twitter to express her excitement over the new venture.

“Wait till y’all see the rest. Like they are the ACTUAL nails I wear, designed by my ACTUAL nail tech, and I made my partner do them over three times,” she tweeted. “I said if I don’t wear them, I’m not going to even ATTEMPT to sell them to my fans because they’re not stupid. And Vwala !!!”

The press-on nails will undoubtedly cater to a diverse audience. The collection will pay tribute to past looks she’s rocked throughout her career, adding a personal touch to the line. The “Everybody” rapper, who is very particular about her nail beds, responded to a fan’s concern. She assured the fan that there was no reason to worry; there’s a pair for everyone.

Minaj’s on-the-go lifestyle was her inspiration.

The idea for Nicki Minaj’s press-on nails was born from her hectic lifestyle as a busy, on-the-go mother. In addition to her booming career, adding a kid to the mix sometimes requires cutting corners where you can. The rapper is doing her part to help people with a jam-packed schedule experience the self-care and luxury they deserve.

“I experienced [being too busy to go to the nail salon], and it got so much more hectic once I became a mom,” she tweeted. “I can’t sit there for as long as I used to when I only had me to worry about so it became almost a necessity for me to create some fly, quality press-on nails.”

Minaj shared that she never thought she would wear press-on nails, but her ever-evolving lifestyle completely changed her mind.

“I never thought I’d rock them. Seemed so corny. But idk if it’s having a baby or having a busy job, but I just stopped having the patience to sit down for ANYTHING for that long anymore,” she tweeted. “And nails used to take 30 minutes in the hood!!! Now? 2 to 3 hours!!! No ma’am. No sir.”

The Barbz are anxiously waiting on the drop.

The nail collections were initially set to launch in January 2024, so the Barbz are growing anxious to learn the release date. In fact, many fans are speculating when Minaj will drop the highly anticipated nail collection.

That said, fans will have to hold tight on Pink Friday Nail news — for now. Minaj started the U.S. leg of her Pink Friday 2 world tour on March 1, 2024. She is heading to major cities, including New York City, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago, and more. So, the 41-year-old may announce a launch date while on tour or when she wraps up the U.S. leg.

Minaj is one of the latest to venture into the press-on-nails trend. Marsai Martin launched her press-on nail line in 2022, called Mari by Marsai. We love seeing our faves deliver quality luxury self-care options. Hopefully, the trend continues.
