From Extended Plays (EPs) to Long Plays (LPs), Deluxe Edition drops, and Fresh Albums, new music releases are a way for you to stay up to date with the music and entertainment industry and its trends. Although November is a little spaced out when it comes to new music, we have carefully curated the best picks of the most anticipated albums coming this month for you to pre-save and pre-order. DRAKE & 21 SAVAGE: HER LOSS

Her Loss is a collaborative studio album by Canadian rapper Drake and Atlanta-based rapper 21 Savage. It will be released on November 4, 2022, through OVO, Republic, Slaughter Gang, and Epic. The announcement of the upcoming album was first made on October 23. However, Drake’s producer “40” contracted COVID, and the release was moved to November 4. The pair have released a makeshift Vogue cover to promote their album. Inside the magazine were motifs that corresponded to the new album and artist-specific signatures that fans spotted. 

SPICE GIRLS: SPICE WORLD25

To commemorate 25 years since the release of their well-known album, Spiceworld, the legendary group Spice Girls will release an anniversary edition record. Along with tunes, the CD will include new remixes, unheard live recordings, and demos. Additionally, it will include the eagerly awaited song “Step To Me.” This special enlarged version was put together by the band, which consists of Victoria Beckham, Melanie “Mel B” Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm, and Geri Halliwell Horner, to commemorate the top-charting album.

The digital deluxe rendition has a slew of live songs from the girl group’s 1997/1998 tour of North America, Europe, and the UK, as well as a new remix of “Viva Forever.” Besides the ten songs from the original album, this upcoming drop also has a demo version of “Step To Me” and ends things on a high jazzy note. The album is finished off by a special “Spice Girls Party Mix.”

Besides this, the sensational girl band is releasing this 25th anniversary edition as a 2-CD/hardback book package. Other versions will be on vinyl and cassette, and they are available for pre-order.

ALICIA KEYS: SANTA BABY

15-time GRAMMY Award-winning artist and globally celebrated music superstar Alicia Keys released her first-ever holiday single, “December Back June 2,” on October 28. The original Christmas song is the debut release on Keys’ eponymous new label, Alicia Keys Records. Santa Baby is Alicia’s ninth studio album and her first Christmas album. It will consist of 11 tracks in total.

METRO BOOMIN’ – HEROES & VILLAINS

Heroes & Villains marks Metro Boomin’s second full-length solo endeavor. It’s arriving four years after his debut, Not All Heroes Wear Capes. The 2018 platinum-certified LP is packed with appearances from a star-studded roster of rappers, including Drake, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Gunna, 21 Savage, Gucci Mane, and Kodak Black. Metro Boomin’s new album, Heroes & Villains, is slated to drop via Boominati Worldwide and Republic Records. Fans hope Metro Boomin maintains the same hard-hitting energy he brought to Savage Mode II. His hit collaboration with 21 Savage.

MICHAEL JACKSON: THRILLER 40

Undoubtedly, one of the highlights of the upcoming releases is this vinyl reissue, which marks the 40th anniversary of MJ’s sixth studio album. Released by Sony Music Entertainment, this reprised version of the 1982 smash hit and one of his biggest-selling global albums comprises MJ’s seven hit numbers, including “Carousel,” “What a Lovely Way to Go,” “The Toy,” and other songs that couldn’t be a part of the original album. After its release, Thriller bagged eight Grammy Awards, including the coveted Album of the Year. To commemorate its anniversary, Sony also teamed up with the Jackson estate to work on a documentary helmed by historian Nelson George. Thriller 40 is available for pre-order.
