Gathering inspiration from the film “Gummo,” 6ix9ine’s Gummo is a song of gang relations.
On this track, 6ix9ine used one of Pi’erre’s beat which was originally for Trippie Redd– however, Trippie sent the beat to 6ix9ine and from there it’s history. Although Pierre isn’t a fan of 6ix9ine and what he do, the song has taken off. The video has gathered 125 million views on YouTube as well as a lot of remixes.
Although the original is good, these remixes are my favorites. So here are my top four of GUMMO remixes.
Bandhunta Izzy
While 6ix9ne’s Gummo music video and lyrics catered more to Bloods around the world, Bandhunta Izzy’s Gummo music video and lyrics catered more to the Crips. This has to be my favorite version because of Izzy and Jugg’s Baltimore accents and the phone call from Jugg that could be heard in the first thirty seconds of the video.

Asian Doll
The self-claimed Queen of Teens took the catchy beat and made it her own— adding a little Barbie vibes. The female rapper appeared in a rainbow wig that resembles 6ix9ine’s rainbow hairstyle.
Snap Dogg
While Izzy is banging Crips, 6ix9ine is banging bloods, Snap Dogg the Problem Child of Detroit is banging Bronco Boys. The Detroit rapper— just like the other rappers, Snap took the beat and began repping his hood and city. One thing I really liked about his version which made it different from the others is how they chopped the beat up in the middle.

“Montona make music for smart gangsters”— someone commented on YouTube lol one the funniest comments I seen under all these videos!
This GUMMO is my favorite for the word play. I swear this version they had the best sayings and not only were they rapping but they were singing in the middle. Just like the Bandhunta Izzy, Snap Dogg, and 6ix9ine— $avage & No Fatigue had their ‘gang’ behind them tooting guns.
Honorable mention— The Madame a female rapper from NYC. Just like the previous rappers she had her ‘gang’ behind her #GOTGANG that rep black and gold as she talked her talk.
