This season, showgoers portrayed a fresh perspective on modern Italian tailoring and fashion. The aesthetic is growing into sartorial elegance. Contemporary Italian tailoring was paired with formal suiting. Many of the attendees paid homage to the classic, oversized, and leather blazers. It was a great lapel affair, with outerwear becoming the most prominent highlight amongst Milan street style. Many showed aesthetic support for Prada and paid homage. Some wore minimal, monochromatic pairings. A beautiful visual of this is the denim-on-denim chore jacket and jeans. Others strike hot with Diesel’s aesthetically pleasing bags and Glenn Martens with its Gen Z-scantily clad designs.

Classic Never Goes Out Of Style

The most common outerwear featured leather bombers, blazers, biker jackets, long overcoats, and textured puffer jackets. Layering took precedence when it came to finding a focal point for the fashionistas’ outfits. Bursts of color were seen from time to time with elaborate graphics on sweaters. However, neutral and earthy tones also proved to be strong contenders throughout the week. Taking inspiration from the ’80s and ’90s, the most common trend included relaxed tailoring. This was for coats, trousers, and more. It appears that classic blazers and leather garments are some of the key items you need to have this season.
