Fashion You Can’t Miss – Top Men’s Collections of NYFW AW18

For the AW18 season showcase, MEFeater picked the collections we’re looking forward to for men’s fashion week in New York.

Raf Simons

Showing his Fall/Winter ’18 collection on the 7th of February, Raf Simons will give us an insight into where he’s taking his eponymous men’s brand. For the SS18 season, we saw not only a lot of umbrellas on the runway but a very creative collection. There were oversized garments in abundance, tailoring a street photographer would chase 20 miles for and support from fellow designers. A cultural approach in recent collections could see an interesting approach for Simons’ Fall ’18 line.

BOSS

BOSS is again showing on the 7th of February with their men’s line at NYFW. The brand is primarily known for being cool and collective with a light aesthetic which appeals to a wide client base. BOSS is a practical brand with neutral coloring which is probably why it remains a favorite amongst many men.

Feng Chen Wang

Feng Chen Wang will show on the second day (the 6th) of NYFW Men’s and we’re excited to see what its Fall collection will entail. While they keep a lot of the menswear line neutral too, Feng Chen Wang is not afraid to design with a pop of color. With the construction of each piece in their Spring ’18 show, you can see an infiltration of contemporary wear and trends in their outlook. For the man who wants to experiment, just a little, Feng Chen Wang should be a great brand to keep an eye on for Fall.

Calvin Klein

Calvin Klein is unorthodox (with its fellow lines above) in that they show their menswear alongside the women’s line. Nevertheless, we can still look forward to it when it shows on the 13th of February. Calvin Klein always brings an uber cool aesthetic to its menswear line. It’s everything you’d want from a modern one. For the Spring collection, Raf Simons’ second line since his appointment as CCO, Calvin Klein assumed male protagonists; cowboy and city slicker.
