This NYFW, MEFeater hosted two incredible events that featured the best of the best in NYC. Popular hair company Mielle Organics sponsored both events, which took place in the stunning NeueHouse building. Their contribution added to the sleek and sophisticated atmosphere that is synonymous with MEF. MEFeater kicked off fashion week with a big bang on Friday, throwing the Mielle x MEFeater Club Pink party. Throughout the night, guests mingled and posed in front of our Club Pink “step and repeat” as well as Mielle’s photo activations. Attendees sipped on fabulously tailored cocktails such as “Pink Friday” and “Sunset Hour,” which fit the night’s joyful and feminine vibe nicely.
Throughout the night, Mielle’s presence was prominent, with themed cocktails and engaging photo activations that left attendees raving about their unique Mielle goodie bags. As expected from any MEF event, Club Pink attracted industry heavyweights such as our clients Yasmine and Jeavina from Zoulette. Also in attendance were renowned celebrity stylist Manny Jay, Haus of Sy founder Angel Reeves, and BFTV creator Crystal Alejandro. The night was packed with surprises, including appearances by our brilliant NYFW clients, Rappers Monaleo, Breezylyn, and Cyn Santana. Honey Bxby, a rising R&B artist, also made an appearance. The atmosphere was truly electric, from the music and handcrafted cocktails to a stylish crowd that made the night unforgettable.
On Saturday, September 9th, MEF hosted our first-annual #NYFW Fashion Girl Summit, sponsored by Mielle Organics. The event was centered on inspiring aspiring enthusiasts to turn their passions into careers. These discussions happened on different topics, such as “Mining Your Business”. The goal was to inspire and educate our audience through industry professionals’ panelist conversations. These panelists included industry tastemakers, key industry figures, and creative entrepreneurs, including millionaire CEOs, celebrity stylists, designers, and celebrity hairstylists.
Notable panelists in attendance were Yusef Mugler, Rihanna’s personal hairstylist, stylists Aliyah’s Interlude, Kelsey Ashley, Devon Milan, and Manny Jay, as well as photographers Jacob Webster, Tayo Jr., and Flo Ngala. Mielle sponsored our special Keynote Panel, “From One Queen to Another,” which featured entrepreneur and mogul Shay Wood and Essence Gu creator Rechelle Dennis and chaired by MEFeater CEO Gabrielle Amani. Amazon Music sponsored our “Breaking into Fashion: Turning Your Passion Into a Career” panel, where an incredible and diverse group of panelists shared their inspiring stories. This panel included designers Rupal Banerjee and Chelsea Ma, Mariah Ford (Tom Ford’s global marketing), stylist Sequine, and more.
The incredible women from Mielle delighted the guests with an exclusive sneak peek of their upcoming promotional campaign. Attendees were further treated to complimentary ice cream from “The Girls Are Eating” Ice Cream Truck, sponsored by 300 Entertainment. Which featured a delectable array of flavors inspired by renowned female artists. Rapper Breezylyn brought the summit to an electrifying close with an exclusive performance that had attendees buzzing with excitement after the enlightening panels. The evening wrapped up with heartfelt gratitude from Gabrielle Amani, extending special thanks to the team, sponsors, esteemed panelists, and all the summit attendees.
