During fashion week eleven-year-old Kheris Rogers showed in Harlem at the Museum of New York. She is the youngest designer to show in fashion week or début a line. And it is one thing to show in fashion week it is another to excel, and excel she did. Her line and message, #FelxininmyComplection, are making waves in the fashion and social realms already.
Rogers is obviously very young, however, she is wise beyond her years. She is advertising for women of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds to be confident. “Flexin in my Completion” is a campaign for all women to feel empowered for who they are. Confidence should have no requirements and Kheris celebrates this.

The collection is colorful with a streetwear flare. There is African influence, and her youth shines through in an exciting way. The casual nature of the various t-shirts repping her phrase makes the collection and its message very accessible and universal. One thing is for sure Kheris Rogers has a bright future ahead of her!
