Make-A-Wish and the infamous YouTube group, RDCWorld, teamed up to make a Bronx teenager’s one wish of attending this year’s Dream Con and meeting RDCWorld come true. The heartwarming exchange, which was caught on video, showed Alex being surprised by all seven members of the group.
18-year-old Alex arrived at the 3 day con, which took place at the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas, where he received VIP access to the convention, special events, and autographed items. Plus the chance to meet some of his other favorite influencers.
Dream Con drew hundreds of anime and gaming fans to Texas over the weekend, this being the 4th year for the annual convention.
RDCWorld1 is a popular YouTube Channel with over 6 million subscribers. The group was founded by Texas native, Mark Phillips and is compromised of 6 other cofounders- Affiong, Leland, Ben, Dylan, Desmond, and John. RDCWorld stands for Real Dreams Change the World.
