Lil Boat is On The Plane To Cloud 9: Yachty Is Set To Set To Star In MTV’s ‘How High 2’.
Lil Yachty has been cast in the lead role of the MTV film ‘How High 2’, according to Variety.
In the film, which is a is a follow up to the 2001 MTV stoner comedy ‘How High’ starring Method Man and Redman, Lil Yachty will play the character Roger, an entrepreneur and younger brother of one of the characters in the original film. Filming has already begun in Atlanta.
Quality Control, Lil Yachty’s label, is also moving into film production. With a roster of amazing artists, we can only imagine the amazing movies that are going to come.
Not only is Lil Yachty taking on a lead role, but he will also executive produce along with Kevin “Coach K” Lee, Pierre “Pee” Thomas, and Brian Sher for Quality Control.
The original ‘How High’ was released back in 2001 and has become a classic black comedy. ‘How High 2’ will premiere on MTV in 2019.
