Trap-pop artist, Janine The Machine is back with a fiery new track guaranteed to heat up the winter. On the heels of her summer release “High Places,” the Detroit native has teamed up with hitmaker, Soundz (Rihanna, Rae Sremmurd) for the hypnotic track, ”No Chill.”
Despite its name, the track showcases her chill vocals over Soundz’ ice-cold beat, boasting clever lyrics and an insanely catchy hook. A clear nod to the R&B inspired girl anthems of the early 2000s, Janine’s pen is on display as she rides the beat with IG caption-worthy quotables like:
“I ain’t catching no feels/ these nigga be too plastic
I’m keeping it too real/ I’m keepin it too ill/
D-town i’m too trill/ these niggas negotiating
cause i’m a big deal”
