Idris Elba is set to star in, Turn Up Charlie, a new Netflix comedy.
Turn Up Charlied was co-created by Idris Elba and TV producer Gary Reich.
Turn Up Charlie will follow the life of Ed (played by Idris Elba), a bachelor and struggling DJ-which is ironic because Idris is actually a well established Dj.

The series revolves around Ed as he unwillingly becomes the manny of his famous best friends problem child. Shooting will be based out of the United Kingdom. Netflix has ordered 8, 30-minute episodes. Production is set to began in May.
Most fans know Idris for his dramatic roles such as; The Moutain Between Us, No Good Deed, Daddy’s Little Girl’s, and more. However, Idris already currently stars in another U.K based comedy co-created by him titled, In the Long Run.
