Hulu’s Upcoming Series with Spotify, “Rap Caviar Presents” Features Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion and More

Spotify is digging deeper. Beyond the song recommendations and curated playlists, Spotify is partnering with Hulu for Rap Caviar Presents, a series where your favorite rap and hip-hop artists discuss pop culture topics. 

Rap Caviar, a Spotify playlist catering to the most popular genre in the world, deservingly has over 14 million followers. First launched in 2015, the playlist has become a staple in hip-hop and a pillar of recognition for the genre’s hottest artists. With faces like Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, and Future often covering the playlist, it cements an artist’s music as a cultural staple. This upcoming docuseries, inspired by the original playlist, will allow listeners to get an idea of how some of the most influential people in music think. This lineup includes Megan the Stallion, Tyler the Creator, Doja Cat, and more. As these artists discuss the hard-hitting topics in their music, this platform will open discussions on the pressing matters of today.

We have seen a spike in music-to-television journeys with the success of shows like Caresha, Please on Revolt, Issa Rae’s Rap Sh!t, and Hulu’s extensive list of music-based documentaries. With the solidified status of the Rap Caviar playlist, the series is sure to impress.
