Get Up and Go with Nike Run Club App

I’m a content creator living in an inner-city with a very hectic schedule. To keep balanced and happy, it’s crucial to have a routine to stay healthy. Since I started working out more frequently, I rely on the latest tech to help me optimize and reach my goals.

Since I moved to the outskirts of the city, my morning routine has been crucial to finding some type of stability and I’ve been married to my Nike Run App to help track my activity on trails. It’s the best part about moving to a new city like New York and learning about the neighborhood with the help of my Nike Run App and customized settings.

I’m a Nike Run App user and frequent morning early riser. I love exploring new trails and adding quite a few miles to my daily routine. Before I moved around more parks and nature trails, I had purchased an indoor treadmill for my apartment and subscribed to a bunch of virtual workout classes. The problem was that I’d “log off” from work and just run on the treadmill or maybe push play on my VR device to a workout, and it resulted in no added physical activity to my day already booked up with me sitting at my desk. My mindset shifted, I wanted to go outside and explore the 25-mile trails and picturesque canals while getting my steps in. My Nike Run Club App became a part of my daily morning routine and provides me with the motivation I need to push the limits.

My morning routine looks like this:

7:30-8 am

Rise and Shine. I like to wake up listening to a radio streaming platform to get the global news and financial market updates. I also drink lemon water, so I do some light stretches, get dressed to work out. If my headphones or phone aren’t charged, this lag time gives me just enough juice to hit the trails.

8-9:30am

Hit the streets with my Nike Run Club App. Depending on if I have a meeting or not, I usually exercise on a local trail. Each mile is tracked on the Nike Run Club App, and it automatically announces when you hit a mile along with the time. I pay attention to the time it takes me to hit the mile. When I’m walking versus when I’m running or doing sprints, I play around with my adrenaline.

What’s cool is that I can also connect my music to the Nike Run Club app and I can view what songs got me hype and what songs made me slow down my running pace.

9:30-10am

So far, I’ve been lucky with my running apps. Nike Run Club is one of the best fitness apps I’ve found so far. The guided yoga workouts are a great way to stretch for a few minutes and cool down after a hard workout. After a long day at work, it feels exhilarating to take a nice run outside and relieve stress. I also feel proud to have completed over 200 workouts this year.

You may indeed discover that the right app can be your best fitness buddy. It can remind you of your daily routine, engage you with challenges to complete your workout, track your progress over time, and more. Choose an app that is free or cheap, has some community component, and features guided fitness classes or short demos.
