College Hill’s 20th Anniversary: Where is the Cast Now?

In 2004, everyone was tuning in to BET’s new reality TV show, “College Hill.” Tuesday nights were incomplete unless you were caught up on all the juicy drama. The show premiered on Jan. 28, 2004, and immediately caught viewers’ attention. College Hill’s 20th anniversary is approaching, and people often wonder what the original cast is up to.

“College Hill” followed eight students who attended a Historically Black College/University (HBCU). The students agreed to live in a house together as they continued attending classes. The first season was filmed at Southern University in Baton Rouge, La. The BET show went on to be an immense success, producing six total seasons. It was even rebooted into a celebrity version in 2022.

Although the show provided some of pop culture’s most significant moments, nothing was like the first season. The original cast of the show was unmatched. Here is what the eight former students have been up to for the past 20 years!

1. Kinda Andrews (Saunders)

Kinda Andrews was deemed the “wild child” of the season, as she was ready for anything. At the time of filming, she was a freshman who was prepared to be free. Now, she is a wife, mother, and content creator.

2. Shalondrea Davis

Shalondrea Davis was a sophomore while filming and was studying elementary education. During the season, she was known to keep it real. After filming wrapped, Davis led a quiet life. However, she looks to be doing well and has built a family.

3. Gabriel Langley

Gabriel Langley was a proud Southern University Marching Band member. He joined Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He was also a pre-med/biology major. If that didn’t keep him busy enough, he was considered the “ladies’ man” of the group. The 42-year-old is married and has three children. According to his Instagram, he recently completed his degree.

4. Kevin Mack

While at Southern University, Kevin Mack cared about two things — football and girls. He was a sociology major and often overslept for class. Nevertheless, he is a mental health therapist and recently opened MACK Counseling in Houston.

5. Delano Mitchell

Delano Mitchell was the class clown during his time on the show. He was also highly creative as a rapper and actor. Mitchell went on to fulfill his dreams. According to IMDB, he has had roles in “Dirty Cops of LA,” “DopeSmack,” and “Urban Country.”

6. Nina Moch (Johnson)

Considered the “It girl” of the cast, Nina Moch (now Johnson) was the bubbly and energetic cheerleader at the university. She also went on to win Miss North Carolina America in 2016. Now, she is a fashion stylist, wife, and mother.

7. Veronica Moss & Jabari Roberts

During the show, Veronica Moss presented herself as a wealthy and entitled person. Jabari Roberts was often considered a “nerd” due to his love for rocks and crystals. The two cast members have led a life of privacy since their time on the show.

It’s monumental that “College Hill” is now celebrating its 20th anniversary, as the show aired at the peak of reality TV. The cast members were vital to the show’s success, as they kept viewers returning for more. Not to mention, it influenced the masses to further their education. The show went on to have five more seasons and gain more viewers each year.
