Chris Brown Signs New Deal with RCA Records

We at MEF would like to think that Chris Brown is on cloud nine, given the fact of him becoming the youngest artist to own their master recordings.

There is no doubt that Brown is one of the most talented artist in the industry. We can say that he has become a Renaissance man. Having the talent to sing, dance, draw, a creator; these are just to name a few.

Brown has signed a deal with RCA Records, allowing him to own his masters. He is one of the youngest to sign with a major label and have the ability to have these benefits. That’s amazing!

With recently releasing the video for “Undecided” featuring Empire actress
Serayah, this is an accomplishment that Brown can bathe in for the days to come.

RCA released a statement on the new deal,

“This new deal structure between Brown and RCA Records, will undoubtedly enhance the release of new Chris Brown music, content, and much more throughout 2019 and beyond.”

The first album to be released under the new deal will be Indigo. Brown first album with RCA was in 2012 with Fortune , debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and became certified platinum. He has released four other albums following, which include X, Royalty, Fan of a Fan: The Album, and Heartbreak on a Full Moon. Chris we can’t wait to hear what is next!
