Cheers to metamorphosis! Blac Chyna, who now goes by her real name, Angela White, is making some serious lifestyle changes. Since 2022, Chyna has worked hard to rebrand and turn her life around. The reality star, known for being involved in drama, has done a complete 180. She has devoted herself to Christ, celebrated her first sober anniversary, and recently reversed several cosmetic surgeries.

In 2023, Chyna was very candid about her surgeries and the many health complications they had caused her. Starting her cosmetic surgery journey at 19, Chyna made the life-altering decision to reduce her breast and butt implants and dissolve her facial fillers.

“Enough is enough. It all has to come out,” she said in a March 15, 2023, Instagram video. “Back to the baseline. Honestly, I’m just tired of the look, and it’s just not flattering; it’s not what I look like. It totally changed my face.”

Chyna continued: “I did it when I was so young. I didn’t even give my body time to fully develop.”

Although Chyna was happy to reverse her cosmetic work, the process wasn’t smooth sailing for the mother of two.

Black Chyna’s first surgery was followed by complications.

The model and influencer opened up about a breast reduction surgery she had in 2023. In a Dec. 31, 2023, video post, wearing a black bra and compression wrap around her upper chest, Chyna detailed how the procedure quickly turned scary.

Chyna explained that the doctor informed her that she had to go smaller and smaller to see how her “skin retracts,” as she wanted to avoid “saggy skin” or “deformed breasts.”

The reality star started to experience painful complications when she agreed to go down to 385cc from 585cc. However, things took a turn for the worse when one of her breasts got encapsulated.

“Tell me why the worst thing that could possibly happen happened,” she said in the Instagram video. “One of my breasts got encapsulated. And once again, this is something that can happen whenever you do surgery.”

She continued: “My left breast was encapsulated, where the muscle had contracted around the implant, and it was just so painful,” she expressed.

She had to receive implants following her second surgery.

Out of all the times she’s had her breasts done, dealing with an encapsulated breast was a first for Chyna. She eventually went back for her second surgery on Dec. 21, 2023. This time, she went down to 190cc. She was then told that if she didn’t keep “some type of implant” her breasts were just going to be “mush,” per People.

Chyna was very open about her breast reduction journey, documenting every step for fans. Although her implants are expensive, and she’ll need another set in 10 years due to upkeep, she wouldn’t change a thing. Chyna feels free, happy, and hopeful about the future.

Her transparency was inspiring.

When asked about cosmetic surgeries, most celebs shy away from answering, but not Chyna. She used this experience to open up about how her past surgeries affected her life and how reversing them came with serious risks. She kept fans informed, and they appreciated her genuine and transparent approach. Not enough of the younger generation are educated about cosmetic surgeries and the possible dangers.

Her honesty was admirable and refreshing, and it resonated with many people who followed her journey. One fan commented via BuzzFeed, “I’m so glad you said this. People aren’t honest about the maintenance of some of these surgeries. Thank you for speaking the truth in this.”

Hopefully, Blac Chyna’s breast reduction story can continue to inspire other young women, as well as entice people to be more open about cosmetic surgeries.
