Madame Tussauds is a chain of wax figure museums that present celebrities in uncanny detail. However, the Madame Tussauds in Manhattan recently removed their Beyonce figure. As you can surely tell from the above image, the original figure did not resemble Beyoncé. Her skin is much too light and her features are off as well. So, the museum took down her figure to be corrected.
Queen Bey‘s wax figure has since been returned to the display, and while the changes helped she is still a bit off in our eyes. Her hair is still very blonde, and her skin is perhaps a shade off. But it must be difficult to accurately capture such beauty in wax!
