Furthermore,“Mi Gente” is a remix of William’s “Voodoo Song,” which came out two months prior to the “Mi Gente” release in June.
“I am donating my proceeds from this song to hurricane and earthquake relief charities for Puerto Rico, Mexico and other affected Caribbean islands,” Beyoncé wrote on her website.
Also, she pointed towards a new BeyGOOD Foundation page with links to organizations that are currently helming relief efforts. In addition, it continues Beyoncé’s recent campaign to raise funds for victims of Hurricane Harvey.
