Greenleaf”s Anna Diop has officially been cast in the upcoming live-action series Titans as the comic book character Starfire, according to Deadline.
The series comes to us from Greg Berlanti, Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns and Sarah Schecter for Warner Bros. TV.
In addition to Diop, newcomer Teagan Croft was recently cast as the character of Raven.
Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. Anna Diop’s character Starfire, also known as Koriand’r, is described as an alien princess from a warrior planet who seeks asylum on Earth.
Titans will premiere in 2018 as part of the upcoming DC digital service.
