Yes, American Apparel is back up and running! After closing over one-hundred stores and filing bankruptcy, AA was hurting badly. But Gildan Activewear Inc. bought the brand and are now reviving it.
The online store is back up and it features a new layout. Now American Apparel is focusing on their comfy classic basics. Along with the “Basics Shop,” Gildan and American Apparel have created an “Archives Shop,” which has Vintage AA favorites like Easy Jeans. There will also be a “Made in the USA Shop.” That is kind of self explanatory of course.
