50 Cent Set to Produce NEW Dramatic Series on Police Gangs

50 Cent - The oath

With the success of his hit Starz series Power it is no surprise, Curtis “ 50 cent ” Jackson is taking on more television projects. This time the hip-hop mogul is an executive producer to a new scripted drama show, “The Oath.

“The Oath” is presented by Crackle and written by former L.A. Sheriff’s deputy Joe Halpin containing 10 episodes that will show viewers the world of police gangs.

The network describes the show to be “a subculture of gangs made up of those sworn to protect and defend.”

“I am very excited to be partnering with Song Pictures Television Networks and Crackle, said 50 cent. “To be able to bring this story to life is something I’m looking forward to and Joe Halpin’s personal experience will make this unlike anything that’s been seen before.”

No release date has been announced for “The Oath,” but Jackson is also developing a Crackle drama series titled “RPN.” “RPN” is based on “a used car salesman, who moonlights as a getaway driver for a Boston crime syndicate.”
