1. Hocus Pocus 2

Released on September 30, Hocus Pocus 2 debuted on Disney+ to a cult following. A reboot of 1993 original, the film follows the original Sanderson Sisters through modern society.

2. Scream (Paramount+)

Scream (2022) is the fifth iteration of the Scream franchise. The movie picks up twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, California. A new killer dons the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past. The film stars original Scream cast members Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, Skeet Ulrich, and David Arquette. We also see newcomers Jenna Ortega, Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and more. Scream is now streaming on Paramount+.

3. Wendell & Wild

Wendell & Wild is a 2022 American stop-motion horror comedy film written and produced by Jordan Peele. The plot follows a young black girl who is encouraged to face her demons. The current king of horror continues to bring us new projects in all forms of media. It is streaming now on Netflix.

4. The Curse of Bridge Hollow

Marlon Wayans, Priah Ferguson, and Kelly Rowland are set to star in The Curse of Bridge Hollow on Netflix. The plot follows a young family who appears to have moved into a zombie town. And yes, that’s our fave from Stranger Things-Ms. You-Can’t-Spell-America-Without-Erica herself!

5. Death on the Nile (Hulu & HBO Max)

In the mood for a murder mystery? Death on the Nile is the mystery sequel to the 2017 film, Murder on the Orient Express. The movie follows the murder of a young heiress on the Nile River. The movie is based on the 1937 novel of the same name by Agatha Christie. This book-to-movie adaptation is star-packed with cast members: Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Letitia Wright, and more. Death on the Nile is available for streaming on HBO Max and Hulu.
