NYX Professional MakeUp has partnered with Alissa Ashley (beauty vlogger) for their newest Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Full Coverage Foundation. The two have partnered to help create an astounding 45 shades of foundation that appears to be more inclusive than many foundations and insists it lasts a staggering 24 hours!

If you’re a member of the youtube beauty community, you’ve probably heard of Alissa Ashley. The beauty vlogger (and bomb photographer) is known for her innovation, personality, and consistently original and stellar content. Alissa, who has admitted to frequently having to mix and match foundations to achieve her perfect shade, stated that she was attempting to minimize this problem for other makeup lovers.

“When developing this new range, we found that if we mixed two together or tweaked it by adding a slight undertone, we could get those in-between shades” – Alissa Ashley, Allure Magazine

Her focus, according to her interview with Allure, was getting a lot more of those in-between shades in order to further maximize NYX’s already grand range. Many staple shades have been updated or revamped through varying colors of the undertones. Any shade could have its own subset due to variations of the aforementioned undertones. Alissa’s shade 15.9 (Warm Honey) is a perfect example as it falls between the 15 and 16 shade range.

As if upping the in-between shade ranges weren’t enough, Alissa also worked on expanding darker shade ranges. Shades like the darkest, ‘Deep Ebony’, provides opportunities for darker toned foundation lovers to flex too. By providing a broader range, both of in-between shades and of darker shades, Alissa and NYX  have upped the foundation game that’s been rapidly expanding since Fenty Beauty’s staggering 40 shade ranges dropped last September.

We are eager to see the collaboration hit shelves. The shades are set to hit NYX stores, NYX website, and Ulta on August 16 and will be a whopping $15 a bottle. Yes, that’s a 1 and 5! Affordability, range, and an extended wear time all for $15 is a mind-blowing deal. If it follows Alissa’s trademark traits and NYX’s quality it will be a bang worth every buck.
