2 Chainz Turned His Trap House Into An HIV Testing Clinic

On July 4th, 2 Chainz teamed up with the Fulton County Board of Health to offer free HIV testing. The tests took place at his pop-up landmark Pink Trap House in Atlanta.

The Atlanta rapper took to Instagram to tell people about the the pop-up clinic and to “come get tested and know your status”.

The house was originally used to promote his new album Pretty Girls like Trap Music, which was released last month.
It has since been used as a church and community centre. Also, it has been welcomed by residents as a tourist attraction.

Teresa Bell, health program manager at the Fulton County Board of Health, who manages testing linkage services including community outreach like the event described here, told Jezebel that out of an estimated 300 attendees, 53 were tested at the Pink Trap House. “Now 53 individuals are aware of their status, and that’s the goal,” said Bell.
