10 Iconic TV Theme Songs every 90’s Baby Should know ??

Some of our favorite tunes come from our childhood TV shows. We can’t seem to get them out of our heads!

While some of these favorites are no longer running, we can still appreciate the catchiness of the songs that remind us of our childhood. We all remember singing along to these shows or at least we remember the melody.

Here are the great top 10 theme songs that our hearts can’t seem to forget.

1. Fresh Prince of Bel Air

Sometimes this popular jingle comes on when we are getting down in the club, or maybe it’s even on our favorite playlist. Almost everyone on the planet knows all the words to this favorite!

2. Kim Possible

How can we forget our favorite red-head and naked mole rat? We all secretly thought Ron and Kim were dating on the low!  One of the best shows ever…Call me beep me if you wanna reach me! Fun Fact: This theme song is performed by the beautiful Christina Milian.

3. Zoey 101

Who didn’t want to go to this Boarding School? At the time PCA was the coolest campus ever, and Zoey seemed like the best friend we all wish we had.  This classic jam takes me back to the good old days, forever wishing this show never ended! Side Bar: Whatever happened to Jamiee Lyn Spears?

4. Drake and Josh

We definitely couldn’t choose which brother was our favorite, or maybe our secret favorite sibling was Megan! Drake and Josh let us step into a crazy filled life between step-brothers and their crazy family!

5. As Told by Ginger

First of all, this was probably one of the most unique theme songs in the history of theme songs. Originally, sung by R&B singer Macy Gray, the theme song sounded more like an adult contemporary tune than a kids TV theme song.  Ginger was the epitome of awkward girls tackling the troubles of her preteens. The grass is definitely much greener on the other side; please bring these old shows back!!

6. Sister Sister

Our favorite twin sister duo, Tia and Tamera, who were separated then brought back together, gave us life! You can currently catch Tamera on The Real and Tia acting in numerous different programs like viewers’ favorite, The Game.

7. All That

While All that let us appreciate comedy and music together. This diverse show has us missing growing up as a 90’s kid. The theme song is sung and performed by Mega Girl Group, TLC.

8. The Proud Family

Our favorite family, and our favorite girl, PENNY PROUD was literally the best show of the 2000’s. This show incorporated family and friends and was totally relatable. The theme song is sung by our girl Solange and Destiny’s Child.

9. One on One

Since this song was a hit we were forever wishing this theme song was a full-blown song. Because One on One was smart and funny, it could make almost anyone laugh! Fun Fact:  The show’s theme song “Living One on One”, was written and performed by Flex Alexander’s Real-Life Wife, Shanice!

10. Reading Rainbow

They’re some high-quality vocals in this theme song! Seems like this song makes you want to sing, and it also was intended to encourage you to read!

Nonetheless, I am now feeling quite nostalgic for the past; I miss these shows and wish they could all make a comeback!

Even though these shows are a thing of the past, they will play a role in the future generations as some of the best shows to ever be produced.
